Swiss Army Knives

A selection of original Swiss Army Knives from Victorinox, all manufactured to the highest standards and all carry a lifetime guarantee against any defects in material and workmanship.
• The blades are all of stainless chrome molybdenum steel which, through a hardening process of 1040°C and an annealing temperature of 160°C, achieve a hardness of RC56 - too hard to be sharpened by a steel - a carborundum stone is required.
• The wood saw, scissors and nail file have a hardness of RC53.
• The screwdrivers, can opener, punch and reamer have a hardness of RC52.
• The corkscrew and springs have a hardness of RC49.
• The metal saw and file, in addition to the special hardening, are subjected to hard chromium plating so that iron and steel can be filed.
• The dividing layers are anodized aluminium alloy, to help reduce weight.
• The rivets are brass and the scales are 'cellidor'.
